Martin D. Helfand
CFO
Martin D. (“Marty”) Helfand joined Rockland Credit Finance in 2003 as the Senior Portfolio Manager and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in May of 2006. Prior to joining Rockland Credit, Marty was senior portfolio manager for a factoring division of CitiCapital, the commercial finance division of CitiGroup. Prior to joining CitiCapital, he was also the Senior Portfolio Manager of the factoring division of EAB Bank, a member of the ABN-Amro Group and Bankers Capital, where he began his career in commercial finance in 1986. Prior to entering the commercial finance industry, Marty was Corporate Treasurer for a regional women’s apparel retail chain performing the CFO duties for that company.
Marty was an officer and a member of the board of directors of the Northtown Chamber of Commerce, a chamber located on the north side of Chicago that served a population of over 400,000 people and hundreds of businesses. Marty graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin (1970), majoring in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant.
